Every bespoke Pierre Marson jewel begins with the stone. We find the emerald first — selecting it for the person, the occasion, the emotion you wish to carry. Then and only then does the design begin.
The Stone
Everything begins here. Before a line is drawn or a word written, we find the emerald. We travel to Bogotá, we examine stones in natural light, and we select the one that speaks to the person the jewel is made for. The stone is not chosen for the design. The design will be chosen for the stone.
The Drawing
Our goldsmith translates the vision into a precise technical drawing. Every angle, every proportion is set before a single gram of gold is touched. You approve the drawing before we begin.
The Design
Working together, we conceive a form that honours the stone and reflects the person who will wear it. Nothing is imposed. The conversation guides everything.
The Craft
The piece is made by hand, in our atelier, by goldsmiths trained in the French joaillerie tradition. Each step is done with patience and precision. The stone is set last — gently, with care, in the knowledge that it took sixty-five million years to form.
The Result
A jewel that belongs to no one else. It arrives in our signature forest-green box, with full documentation of the stone's origin and a certificate of authenticity. The beginning of something that will outlast both of us.

Questions About Bespoke
The three differ mainly in design process, scale, and client relationship — not automatically in quality or price. Bespoke pieces are designed around one individually chosen stone for one client. Ready-made pieces offer immediate availability at fixed pricing. Large brands offer broader recognition with standardized, centrally produced designs.
At an independent atelier you interact directly with the people responsible for sourcing stones and overseeing craftsmanship — meaning more specific, informed answers about any particular piece.
Cost depends primarily on the gemstone selected, metal, and design complexity — there is no fixed price. The process: initial consultation → stone selection → design proposal → price confirmed before any work begins → 6–8 weeks of handcrafted production.
Bespoke is not automatically more expensive than ready-made. Because pricing is set stone-by-stone, a bespoke piece using a modest, well-chosen stone isn't necessarily pricier than a comparable ready-made piece. The primary trade-off is time, not cost.
Yes. International clients begin the process remotely by phone or video call. We share detailed photography and video of proposed stones and present design sketches digitally. The piece is shipped worldwide with full insurance and signature confirmation on delivery.
