What began as curiosity
became a lifetime's work
It started with a stone held up to the light in Bogotá. What Jean-Pierre Marson saw that day — the depth of the green, the warmth living inside it, the sense that this was not simply a gem but something alive — was the beginning of an obsession that would last four decades.
He discovered a world where most people had no idea what made a Colombian emerald truly special. A world where extraordinary beauty was passing unrecognised. That awareness became a purpose.

On one side, the raw magnificence of Colombia — a land where emeralds have been forming for sixty-five million years, where the Muisca people once offered them to their gods, where the earth still gives up stones that carry centuries of history.
On the other, the rigour and refinement of French joaillerie — a tradition built on precision, patience, and the belief that a jewel should be made to outlast its maker.

We chose Alicante for its light. With more than three hundred days of sunshine a year, it is the only place where you can truly see an emerald as it was meant to be seen — in natural daylight, alive and refracting, showing every nuance of its colour.

We build for generations. A Pierre Marson jewel is made to be worn, treasured, and passed down. The stone was forming for sixty-five million years. The piece should last at least as long.
